Chargrills

If you’re looking to cook food with those distinctive chargrilled lines on them then a chargrill is the appliance that you need. Whether you’re serving succulent steaks served medium-rare or delicious burgers a quality chargrill will take your meals to the next level. In order to choose the perfect chargrill there are a few considerations to take into account:

  • Grill Size: This all depends on the size of your kitchen. If you are cramped for space in a food truck then a 2-burner unit with a 300mm grill is your best option. On the other hand, if you are a large commercial kitchen with a high output a 1200mm chargrill is what you need.

  • Fuel: Natural gas or LPG. This all depends on what your kitchen has access to and what your other appliances are running on.

  • Countertop vs Free Standing: Again this all depends on the size and output of your kitchen. Larger establishments will be able to fit a freestanding chargrill whilst still maintaining valuable bench space. Countertop grills compromise on bench space but allow you to add another valuable appliance into a small kitchen.

  • Storage: Freestanding char grills include a storage shelf under the grill itself, perfect for keeping plates and serving platters close at hand.
